Hanji 

My work with hanji dwells in the gap between presence and disappearance.

Within restrained color and open space, I explore surface and material through the discipline of brushwork.

Colors flow like breath,

forms seep and fade.
 

Hanji becomes a surface that holds seepage and absorbs traces,

and painting quietly unfolds within that gap.
